RE: Cords or wires able to form a loop: In the Art Room there was a pink cord hanging from the top of the window sill to the ground. In the preschool room, the provider asked about the doodle boards. The doodle boards have cords holding the stylus for drawing. The cord is about 6 inches long but it stretches out to about 30 inches so it does pose a risk. RE: Equipment in poor condition: A child sized light brown table has a hole in the middle repaired with clear tape. In the same area, there is a small blue shelf with flaking paint. In the toddler room, there is leafy contact paper that is no longer covering up the splintered edges of the white bookshelves. RE: Lighting safety: There are light bulbs in the front two bathrooms and i the toddler room that are not shatter resistant. The recessed lighting and bulb connected to the bathroom vents need to have the manufacturers recommended type of bulbs. RE: Stairway safety: The gate at the bottom of the white, iron stairway to the second floor did not have the safety gate in place. This was fixed right away during the visit.
